About the WCSC

WCSC began in 1954, and is the oldest Spouses' Club in Europe. Today, with more than 300 members, the Club is a very active part of the Wiesbaden community.  The purpose of WCSC is to develop, organize, and sponsor educational, charitable, and social activities. They strive to foster, protect, and preserve the ideas of charity, benevolence, and good fellowship in keeping with the ideals of the United States Military Forces and Allies. WCSC raises funds in support of community projects and benefiting the local military community, as well as regional, national, and international organizations.

As an example, we take active participations in the WCSC monthly lunches at Little Italy on the Erbenheim Base. Each lunch has a theme, which is reflected in the room and table decoration. Guests generally dress to complement the theme. Every lunch ticket includes a raffle ticket to win a lunch themed prize. It's a great fun and a fantastic networking opportunity!

In the words of our member Karin Payne-Stern:

"I particularly enjoyed the so-called 'Some of my Favorite Things' lunch. My gift were either two or three Christmas-related paperbacks. One book was about a female cook/housesitter looking after a remote premise on the Hebrides and she encounters the oddball neighbours - rather quaint! The books together with English breakfast tea and a box of chocolate biscuits were just the perfect way to spend a winter evening. I also received a gift box of Victoria Secrets perfume. It was just great!"
